SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Finalsite is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to own and evolve the enterprise architecturestrategy across all products, platforms, and clouds—enabling scalability, consolidation, and businesstransformation. This role will shape the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and innovativesolutions across our platform and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience andstrategic vision across application, data, and infrastructure domains, and will act as a key partner inguiding technology decisions to meet current and future business needs.

100% Remote - Anywhere within Poland - Our Poland office is located in Krakow (B2B Contract)
Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration, we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 10:00-19:00 CEST, with core working hours being 16:00-19:00 CEST
Essential Functions:
● A true influential experienced leader who will take and own architecture across all the organization, report directly to the Executive VP of Engineering, and lead architecture andtechnology excellence
● Define and maintain enterprise architecture vision to support business goals, growth, and scalability.
● Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Security, and Business stakeholders) to align technical decisions with strategic objectives.
● Lead the development of reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and architectural standards across all go forward products and platforms.
● Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that align with Finalsite’s goals.
● Ensure data integrity, security, and integration across systems and services.
● Translate complex technical concepts into understandable strategies for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
● Oversee and guide architectural governance processes and review boards.
● Operate within a multi-cloud, multi-product environment shaped by recent acquisitions. Yourwork will unify disparate architectures, guide simplification, and reduce technical debt.
● Mentor engineers and guide teams through best practices in scalable and secure architecture.
Qualifications and Skills
● 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or architecture roles.
● Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role in SaaS or EdTech environments.
● Expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, API gateway design, DevOps practices, datapipelines, and enterprise service mesh architecture.
● Strong understanding of data architecture, integration strategies, and security frameworks.
● Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience influencing senior leadership.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
● Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and navigating evolving business needs is a strong plus.
● You are a pragmatic strategist—able to zoom in to guide teams and zoom out to shape vision. Respected by peers, you influence without exerting control, challenge with humility, and thrive on clarity rather than complexity.
