Business Operations

Work closely with the CEO and be the authoritative business lead of the company, representing the business perspective in major decisions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned business operator, with a track-record of scaling revenue and growing a company, takes a customer-centric approach and is able to provide strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Passionately lead and grow the sales and business development efforts.

  • Lead the monetization efforts of Diffbot’s services and architect revenue strategy

  • Design product positioning to maximize revenue opportunities based on deep understanding of the demands and requirements of different customers and markets

  • Serve as the voice of Diffbot’s customers:  Define customer journey with a goal of growing long term customer value and work closely with the team to continually incorporate customer insights into product development and evolution to drive customer acquisition and retention

  • Deeply engage with strategic customers, serving as an adviser to their company needs, promoting the value of AI and cloud services and fully exploring business potential

  • Provide a strategic business perspective, backed by deep market research, to inform ongoing technology and product development of the company

  • Measure and analyze performance metrics for Diffbot and its customers

  • Detailed knowledge of the latest AI developments, competitive landscape and adjacent markets and how they may affect Diffbot’s market position and business strategy and product roadmap

Requirements

  • Experience scaling and leading SaaS sales and marketing teams at the early stage

  • Strong familiarity with products and business models leveraging cloud-based APIs and artificial intelligence

  • Deep experience building potential customer profiles, identification and sales strategy

  • Passionate about technology and up-to-date about latest market trends

  • Deep customer focus and works side-by-side to proactively address customer problems
