Veterinarian - Equity Ownership Opportunity - Santa Rosa, CA
Northtown Guardian Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian who is ready to step up the next level of veterinary practice leadership as an equity partner. Our full-service hospital located in Santa Rosa, CA is the result of the recent merger of two practices: Dr. Racelle LaMar’s Northtown Animal Hospital and Dr. Joy Mueller’s Guardian Pet Hospital, two longstanding members of the Santa Rosa veterinary hospital community.
Northtown’s hospital burned in the wildfires of October 2017, and our merger with Guardian has provided us with a new temporary home and the exciting opportunity of taking the best of both practices to launch our brand new one. We recently expanded our current facility to provide new treatment and surgery space. We are also in the process of designing and building a brand-new state of the art hospital which will be located at the former Northtown site on Old Redwood Highway.
Northtown Guardian Veterinary Hospital’s veterinary care team provides high-quality medicine, dental and routine surgical care while building close relationships with our clients and their animal companions. We offer customized care for each pet’s individual needs, and work to build a strong, nurturing bond with them and their human family that lasts for years. A love of people and a heart for customer service are crucial attributes in a new practice partner.
As a member of the veterinary care team you will join Dr. Racelle LaMar, our practice partner and medical director, along with Dr. Joy Mueller, Guardian Pet Hospital’s founder and former owner. Together with them you will work alongside an enthusiastic and dedicated support team in a fun, passionate and busy practice environment.
Operating under a new partnership model, this role offers the opportunity of equity ownership in the merged practice, joining forces with Dr. LaMar in an expanded leadership team to move the practice forward as we develop and eventually move to our brand-new facility. As one of the two on-site owners, you will be involved in on-going care and long-term decision making regarding medical standards and services. In addition, you will be central to forming the future strategy and direction of the hospital.
In order to attract the right applicant, we are offering the following compensation and benefits:
- Opportunity for equity ownership
- Competitive salary
- CE allowance
- Health insurance
- Vacation and paid holidays
- VIN membership
- Professional membership annual dues
- DEA license
