Summary
Responsible for planning, allocating resources and managing the execution of a project from start to finish and report progress and results to all involved.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Review and provide guidance to team members on draft RFPs/RFIs developed
- Create more complex schedules, budgets and project plans for PM utilizing Smartsheet and Excel Templates
- Run projects from start to finish with minimal assistance
- Understanding of the real estate leasing process and able to add value in creating favorable redline edits to LOI’s, work letters, and full lease documents
- Actively participate in team and client objectives to ensure targets and goals are achieved
- See the big picture – proactively identify potential issues and come up with creative resolutions before they become problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and service lines
- Assist in development and implementation of innovations, best practices, and standard operating procedures to elevate team performance
Education/Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Architecture, Engineering or Construction as a Project Manager or having mastered the requirements in the APM role
- Ability to prepare and track capital budgets
- Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
- Experienced, self‐motivated, customer‐centric and results‐oriented
- In‐depth knowledge of the design and construction process
- Proven track record of success delivering projects on time and on budget
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and in teams
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to identify and manage priorities
- Proficiency in developing scope requirements related to project proposals
- Proficiency in vendor contract scope review / development and favorable contract negotiations on behalf of our clients.
- Good client/people skills to be a team and project leader, go on pitches as required
- Ability to train and be a mentor to junior team members
- Ability to either source / pitch and win Project Management work or manage volume of work 3+ times your annual compensation
