About Us:

CONVO is seeking a Mid-Level Fixed Asset Manager to join our Finance team in Islamabad. This onsite, full-time role requires a seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in fixed asset accounting and a Bachelor's Degree. You will oversee the complete asset lifecycle, from acquisition and capitalization to depreciation, revaluation, and disposal, ensuring meticulous financial reporting and compliance. This position demands hands-on proficiency with Oracle ERP's Fixed Assets Module, strong reconciliation skills, and a deep understanding of IFRS/GAAP standards.


Required Skills

  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Mastery of the full asset lifecycle, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, revaluation, and disposal/retirement processes.

  • Oracle ERP / Fixed Assets Module: Hands-on proficiency administering fixed assets within an ERP environment (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP), covering mass additions, depreciation runs, create accounting, and FA-to-GL reconciliation.

  • Depreciation & Capitalization Expertise: Applying various depreciation methods, prorate conventions, useful lives, and capitalization policies correctly and consistently.

  • Reconciliation & Financial Reporting: Skill in reconciling the asset sub-ledger to the general ledger and producing accurate asset registers, schedules, and management reports.

  • Compliance & Accounting Standards: Sound knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, alongside relevant tax and regulatory requirements pertaining to fixed assets.

  • Internal Controls & Governance: Experience designing and enforcing robust internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit trails to safeguard assets and prevent misstatement.

  • Physical Verification & Asset Tracking: Ability to conduct physical counts across various locations, implement tagging (barcode/RFID) for tracking, and reconcile physical assets to system records.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven capability to investigate discrepancies, analyze complex data, and draw accurate conclusions with strong attention to detail.

  • Advanced Excel & Data Tools: Proficiency in building complex reconciliations, financial models, and analyses; experience utilizing reporting tools.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Coordination: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, IT, and auditors, and to clearly report findings to management.

  • Education: Minimum B.Com. Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications such as MBA (Finance), CA-Inter, ICMA-Inter, ACCA, or other relevant accounting qualifications.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) for fixed asset management.

  • Project management experience related to fixed asset system implementations or upgrades.
