Position Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting CINQCARE's clinical operations by conducting complex analyses, providing actionable solutions, and driving performance reporting initiatives. This role requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively communicate findings to leadership. This position reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Vendor Management and Data Analytics. Key Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, data, and systems to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain performance reporting solutions to track key metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes and data management.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new technologies and systems that enhance business operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
General Duties
The Senior Business Analyst should have the following duties:
- Leadership: The Senior Business Analyst will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
- Strategy: The Senior Business Analyst will establish the business strategy and roadmap to: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Senior Business Analyst will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the company.
- Collaboration: The Senior Business Analyst will ensure that business capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.
- Knowledge: The Senior Business Analyst will provide subject matter expertise in business solutions, including determining and recommending approaches for solution deployment and performance evaluation.
- Culture: The Senior Business Analyst is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe, and inclusive work environment for the team and as part of the larger company.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with senior leadership, including preparing and presenting executive-level reports or recommendations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Communication:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving performance reporting solutions and delivering impactful results.
- Relationships:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Culture:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

The working environment and physical requirements of the job include:
Work is performed indoors in a setting with conditioned air and artificial light. Travel to and work in offices or other environments is required.
In this position you will need an to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
