A leading consumer products company seeks a Supply Chain Project Manager to provide end-to-end supply chain leadership within a Strategic Business Unit (SBU), driving execution of product change initiatives and ensuring alignment between supply chain and business strategies.
Supply Chain Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain execution for product change initiatives by developing and implementing strategies that meet project objectives, such as start of ship, volume, cost, and supply risk, while ensuring successful activation through technical transfer and production readiness.
- Act as the primary supply chain representative within cross-functional project teams, facilitating communication, coordination, and alignment across supply chain functions, business units, and external partners to support project success and speed to market.
- Manage supply chain implementation of product changes, support feasibility assessments, and ensure best-in-class execution for new product launches, promotions, and supply chain solutions while synchronizing priorities across constrained resources.
- Drive project governance by leading functional reviews, communication plans, and updates to stakeholders, while building partnerships across supply chain sub-functions and fostering strong team dynamics to deliver business priorities.
- Identify and recommend cost savings opportunities, design and implement best-practice processes, and collaborate with business teams to enhance supply chain performance and develop broader business partnership capabilities.
Supply Chain Project Manager Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain project management and leadership within cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Engineering or related technical field preferred).
- A business MBA is preferred.
- A strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations is preferred.
- Strong project leadership and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly in dynamic environments.
