A leading digital broadcasting and media company is seeking a Streaming Services Specialist to ensure successful streaming of multiple concurrent soccer games, and oversee the dynamic ad insertion process for specific games. The successful candidate will have a love of soccer and some experience in production and video streaming.

Streaming Services Specialist Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $15
• Worksite: Leading digital broadcasting and media company (Omaha, NE 68114)

Streaming Services Specialist Responsibilities: 

• Managing software that inserts ads in our streams when cued by our broadcast team
• Monitor live events and report any on-air issues and concerns immediately
• Set-up testing windows and perform pre-game check-ins
• Ensure prompt and accurate communication to all stakeholders as needed 
• Other operational duties as assigned 

Streaming Services Specialist Qualifications:  

• At least one year in a TV, Sports, or Entertainment production or related industry
• Basic knowledge of video streaming technologies and connected TV devices
• Experience booking live events, including satellite transmissions, and creating event schedules 
• Passionate sports fan, with an emphasis on soccer   
• Ability to multitask, follow strict directions to ensure compliance for rights management
• Must be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision but also able to work in a team dynamic
• Ability to communicate with multiple groups internally and externally via email, phone and SLACK
• Comfortable working with Gmail and Google Documents, Google Sheets / Excel, Google Drive, and other related Google Applications.
• Familiar with Windows operating systems
• Must be reliable and able to work shifts that include evenings and weekends
• Candidate must also have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Candidate must have reliable internet, phone/cell service , and own a personal OTT device (Roku, FireStick, AppleTV) 

Shift:

• TBD, flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required

Job Type: 

• Approximately 30 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
