Service Technical Support Specialist - CalibrationResponsibilities:

  • Calibrate high-power supplies and high-power electronic loads.
  • Calibrate DC shunts and power resistors.
  • Calibrate various multi-vendor and our electronic test and measurement equipment.

Service Technical Support Specialist- Calibration Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of related calibration experience.across biomedical, aerospace, and defense environments, making the candidate a strong fit for high-power calibration roles requiring technical depth, safety awareness, and lab-based expertise.
  • 4 year college degree, preferably in the Electronic Technology Field. Open to an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and nearly a decade of progressive calibration experience
  • Calibration experience for High Power (20kWatt), High Current (1kA), and High Voltage (1kV) parameters within accredited calibration laboratories.
  • Proven capability in calibrating high power AC/DC power supplies, electronic loads, DC shunts, and power resistors, including applications involving currents up to 1 kA and voltages up to 6 kV.
  • Experience calibrating electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Demonstrates deep technical proficiency with multi-vendor electronic test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, RF/microwave instruments, and power systems from leading manufacturers.
  • Extensive experience working safely in high-energy environments, with strict adherence to high-voltage and high-current safety procedures, LOTO practices, and regulated quality systems.
  • Well-versed in ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, FDA QSR, and ISO 13485 standards, with a strong track record of supporting audits, ensuring NIST traceability, and maintaining calibration lab compliance.
  • Adept at automation and efficiency improvements using LabVIEW, MetCal, Python, and NI platforms to improve throughput and accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: FDA QSR, ISO 13485 (Medical), ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540
  • Industry Expertise: Biomedical Manufacturing, Defense & Aerospace (Security Cleared environments).
  • Automation & Software: LabVIEW, MetCal, Python, VBA, SureCal, and NI-CAL EXEC.
  • Technical Proficiencies: RF/Microwave, Electrical (DMMs, Oscilloscopes), Thermodynamic, Pressure, Dimensional.

Shift:

  • Day shift, 07:00 am - 3:30 pm.
