A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Quality Technician to support precision inspection processes and focus on high-volume part inspection using manual and automated equipment, ensuring quality and accuracy for components used in advanced electronic measurement systems.

Quality Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated inspection of precision-machined components, including microscopic visual inspections and the use of precision measurement tools such as pin, thread, and ring gages.
  • Operate inspection equipment and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to process parts efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Interpret engineering specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), to verify compliance of manufactured components.
  • Handle high-volume inspection workflows requiring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and consistent performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Support operational excellence by maintaining organized workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Quality Technician Qualifications:

  • Some college or technical coursework is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, mechanical inspection, or precision measurement environments is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Windows PC systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform fine motor tasks, including microscope-based inspection.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, including GD&T.
