A leading digital streaming network seeks an MDG Data Analyst to support day-to-day master data governance operations in Oracle Fusion, with a primary focus on Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Title Management, and FCGL (Chart of Accounts). This role is execution focused and supports governed data creation, updates, validation, and workflow management in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
MDG Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage governed master data requests in Oracle Fusion EDM, including creation and maintenance of Title Management (Show, Season, Episode, Part) and FCGL (Chart of Accounts) dimensions.
- Monitor workflow queues, manage request status, and coordinate approvals, rework, and communication with requestors and reviewers.
- Perform data validation and quality checks, ensuring required attributes, hierarchy placement, and compliance with governance rules to prevent downstream issues.
- Support data updates, legacy mappings, and controlled changes during cutover or high-volume periods, ensuring accuracy and continuity.
- Maintain documentation, job aids, and reinforce standardized processes with end users.
- Track operational metrics (e.g., request volume, turnaround time), identify risks or bottlenecks, and escalate to MDG leadership as needed.
MDG Data Analyst Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in data, finance operations, ERP support, or master data-related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion, EDM, or workflow-based data tools).
- Experience working with structured data, validation rules, and Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Experience with master data governance, finance master data (CoA), or content/title data is preferred.
- Exposure to workflow processes, approvals, and high-volume operational environments (e.g., go-live or hypercare support) is preferred.
