A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Coordinator (Die Sort) to support semiconductor IC sort operations for both production and R&D development programs. This role is responsible for handling delicate chips and wafers, operating semi-automated sorting equipment, following detailed manufacturing procedures, and ensuring high levels of product quality and reliability in a precision manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing Technical Coordinator (Die Sort) Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate computer-controlled and semi-automated sorting equipment to accurately process, pick, and sort integrated circuits according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Handle delicate chips and wafers while following detailed product documentation, standardized operating procedures, ESD protocols, and strict quality standards.
  • Perform visual inspections and support IC fabrication processes, ensuring product quality, consistency, and reliability throughout manufacturing operations.
  • Interpret hardware documentation and operating instructions to safely and effectively utilize sophisticated manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers, trainers, operators, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, communicate concerns through established channels, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Manufacturing Technical Coordinator (Die Sort) Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics production, cleanroom operations, or a related technical manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in an ESD-controlled environment and follow detailed manufacturing and safety procedures.
  • Experience handling delicate materials, chips, wafers, or other precision components requiring strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Familiarity with integrated circuit fabrication processes such as sorting, visual inspection, wafer handling, or related semiconductor operations is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, work instructions, and equipment procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is preferred.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.
