A leading technology company is seeking a Machinist - Career to join the Precision Meso-scale Technology Center, which provides mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of their electronic measurement equipment. The successful candidate will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, the Machinist will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production.

Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with R&D on microwave applications, influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production.
  • Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

Machinist Qualifications:

  • An associate's Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification is a plus.
  • Career level Machinist experience.
  • Must have the willingness to learn advanced machining.
  • High level of precision and detail.
  • Strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility.
  • Experience with any/all of the following is desired:
    • 3 to 5 axis Milling
    • Swiss Style Lathes
    • Mill/Turn Machine Center
    • Advanced Metrology
    • CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
    • CAD/Solid Modeling
    • Tool Grinding
    • Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Shift:

  • 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
