A leading digital streaming network seeks Legal Coordinator to oversee contract administration and provide administrative support to the Executive Director of Contract Administration. They are looking for a candidate with contracts and document review experience in the media and entertainment industry The company offers a great work environment.

Legal Coordinator - Contract Administration Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process documents using DocuSign and assist with electronic signature workflows.
  • Provide administrative support related to contract administration processes and documentation.
  • Read and understand contracts, including documentation related to guilds, dga, wga, and pga,options, and calendaring options
  • Review documents for guilds, payments/accounting such as option payments, weekly work list, credits for tv shows, arbitration matters for WGA, payments on development to writers, within a timely matter for multiple departments (features, tv, scripted, unscripted).
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director of Contract Administration
  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings.
  • Screen and respond to a high volume of calls, emails, and meeting requests with professionalism and discretion

Legal Coordinator - Contract Administration Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in contract administration or a legal support role is required
  • 1+ year prior entertainment or media experience is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
    Experience managing calendars and coordinating meetings in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with DocuSign.
  • Contract management experience, reading and understanding contracts, including documentation related to the Guilds DGA (Directors Guild of America), WGA (Writers Guild of America), PGA (Producers Guild of America), SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) options (such as producer option, development option), and calendaring options,
  • Able to prioritize tasks, work independently and with good judgment in discerning when escalation is needed.
  • Effective communicator able to interface with executives inside and outside organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.

Shift:

  • 9 am - 6 pm.
