A leading digital streaming network seeks a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis for a large technology organization. This role will partner closely with finance and business leaders to manage operational and capital budgets, perform variance analysis, support monthly close activities, and provide financial insights that drive business decisions.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Support annual operating plans, capital budgets, long-range planning, monthly forecasts, and budget consolidations while partnering with business leaders to improve financial performance and decision-making.
  • Perform monthly capital and expense tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting; communicate results and insights to department leaders, project owners, and finance stakeholders.
  • Support monthly accounting close activities, including accrual preparation, journal entries, account analysis, and validation of reported financial results.
  • Analyze financial and operational data, develop business cases, review capital expenditure requests, perform NPV modeling, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, monitor trends, support process improvements, and collaborate across finance and business teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of accounting (GAAP) and finance principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and provide concise, actionable business insights.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Media/Entertainment or a technology-focused industry is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, TM1, or Longview is preferred.

Shift:

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
  • Some overtime is expected.
