Coordinator - Nursing Innovation Center 29194664 

A leading medical institution is seeking a Coordinator - Nursing Innovation Center. The successful candidate will provide oversight of the day to day logistics of the innovation and education center (activities in human resources and also includes IT, learning management system (LMS) operations, and student portals to ensure the innovation center logistics are organized and efficient). The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures for personnel management.

Coordinator - Nursing Innovation Center Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $23/hr

  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life,401k, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

Coordinator - Nursing Innovation Center Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, plan, and administer a range of administrative operations: Nursing Simulation events, Education programing for in person learning events, Equipment, and supplies related to the innovation center activities, and Special events hosted at the innovation center.
  • Act as a liaison, representing the Department of Nursing, between the above roles and HR, IT, and security.
  • Work closely with the department leadership to maintain Nursing Professional Development activities. 
  • Collaborate with the NPD team regarding programs, activities, and timelines. 
  • Participate in innovative strategy sessions for seeking solutions to identified challenges.
  • Access the learning management system in collaboration with the Nursing LMS content delivery team.
  • Perform short and long-term planning in collaboration with the Center leadership and demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and re-designing processes and workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Coordinator - Nursing Innovation Center Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of recent administrative analyst experience.
  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures for personnel management.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resources policies and procedures for staff.
  • Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to include verbal and written, active listening, and critical thinking.
  • Strong skills in planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
