A leading digital streaming network seeks a Cash Application Analyst I to support high-volume accounts receivable and cash application activities.

Cash Application Analyst I Responsibilities:

  • Process and apply customer payments including checks, wire transfers, credit card transactions, lockbox deposits, and payment remittances while maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
  • Prepare daily cash reports, balance cash receipt accounts, record journal entries to the general ledger, create credit/debit memos, and support month-end close activities.
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, chargebacks, refunds, and unidentified wire transfers by partnering with collections, treasury, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support audits, prepare ad hoc financial reports, respond to payment inquiries, provide supporting documentation, and participate in accounts receivable projects and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate financial records while managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively within a fast-paced accounting environment.

Cash Application Analyst I Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, cash applications, or a related finance role, with experience processing checks, wire transfers, and payment remittances.
  • Knowledge of cash application processes, account reconciliation, journal entries, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
  • ERP or Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
