The Platform Solutions team at PubMatic works directly with our sales and account teams to showcase the value proposition of PubMatic’s products and solutions. We serve as technical experts and advisors in all phases of the platform sales life cycle process. This includes technical consulting, sales support and implementation, training, and custom requirements definition.
The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the sales process, including post-sale client onboarding and support. The Sales Engineer partners with the PubMatic engineering team to develop custom solutions and resolve issues during the sales cycle. The Sales Engineer has exceptional technical aptitude and is a confident presenter who can prepare and present technical material to both business and technical audiences. Additionally, the Sales Engineer is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are looking to be at the forefront of building a team and we're looking for candidates with a passion for advertising technology and solving complex business and technical challenges.
Candidates for this position should be proactive, respond positively and actively to challenge and pressure. Confidence to handle problems and people is required. We are looking for a leader with the ability to motivate people in the process of getting things done. Demonstrated team-building experience and an active network are preferred.
The candidate should have an understanding of the Digital Advertising Industry, a passion for technology and the drive and ownership to work in a start-up environment. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, ownership, initiative and integrity. High energy and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to react to changing priorities and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a deadline-oriented environment is also critical.
