gloProfessional in Denver has an immediate opening for a full-time Purchasing/Sourcing Manager for its worldwide headquarters located in Denver.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create and submit Purchase Orders

  • Review and analyze inventory levels

  • Communicate with existing vendors

  • Source and develop potential vendors

  • Maximize, evaluate and enhance product margins

  • Manage inbound logistics of products and coordinate logistics for component shipments between vendors

  • Maintain SKUs, including creation of new SKUs, updates to existing SKUs, component management, pricing maintenance, etc.

  • Coordinate purchasing/sourcing responsibilities within the department and manage other purchasing personnel

  • Work with warehouse and accounting staff on inventory administration

  • Identify cost savings and implement necessary steps to achieve

  • Develop purchasing patterns that take into account volume discounts, inventory efficiency, timing needs, etc

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

  • Work closely with marketing and sales personnel on product launches, development process, sales projections, etc.


Experience and Skills Required

  • Must be highly functional in Microsoft Office applications and be able to quickly learn and utilize company’s internal sales management system

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have tremendous organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Successful candidate must have strong analytical skills

  • Successful candidate must be highly motivated, be willing to take initiative, have a positive attitude and exhibit a strong work ethic

  • Accounting background is preferred

  • Bachelors Degree required


Salary range:  Commensurate with experience.   Local candidates only.
