Job Description: Supply Chain Manager
Develop and scale a supply chain for a rapidly growing solar racking company. This person will work closely with Product General Managers, the development team and the management team to optimize COGS. In addition to this, they will lead and motivate their team to improve processes and prepare for scale up. We contract manufacture our products so successfully managing the supply chain is a critical role in our company.
Sourcing/Inventory Management - Select suppliers and negotiate terms. Develop a supply base that will support growth. Develop internal processes to improve purchasing.
Order Management & Customer Service - estimate customer demand, manage suppliers, monitor inventory, track deliveries, and manage logistics.
Technical Support - Develop supplier quality standards. Work with R&D to determine manufacturability of products. Provide leadership to drafting department.
7-10 years of experience in supply chain with progressive advancement (must have several years experience as a supply chain manager with substantial spend and direct negotiating responsibility). All applicants not meeting this requirement will immediately be declined.
Experience in strategic supply chain management in a manufacturing setting
Proven track record in price/term negotiations
Team Player, sense of humor a must
Experience implementing and using an ERP
Must be a go-getter, who thrives in a fast paced work environment, and enjoys challenges.
Experience in international sourcing preferred
MBA or advanced degree
Expected to be at office in Athens during core hours of 9 to 4, some flexibility.
