Bedrocket Media Ventures is the first media company created for the social TV generation. Bedrocket creates, produces, and distributes high-quality entertainment for every screen.  The company is dedicated to changing the way the world watches, engages with and shares content throughout the multi platform world.


Position summary:

Bedrocket seeks a full-time Director of Business Development to work in our downtown Manhattan office.


Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, negotiate and close licensing agreements and partnerships with content creators, major media companies, agencies, and brands
  • Act as liaison to company’s business partners, providing business support and analytics as well as solutions to any partner issues or concerns
  • Provide financial analysis of potential deals and partnerships
  • Develop and author business plans and presentation materials
  • Work closely with CEO, CFO and EVP Business Affairs on deal structuring
  • Work with senior management on companywide strategic planning
  • Develop new revenue opportunities for company and its partners


Qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in business development
  • Excellent negotiating and communication skills
  • MBA with background in media preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
