Yummly has an opportunity for a Product Manager, Data & Analytics to join our food-obsessed team. We are looking for a passionate individual who has a love of data and analytics to empower our Product, Marketing, Revenue, and Publishing teams in leveraging data to drive and measure impact.

As Product Manager, Data & Analytics you will:

  • Define, automate, monitor, and report out business performance indicators to create awareness, accountability and action

  • Develop strategic key performance indicators providing updates to executive leadership on platform health

  • Rationalize legacy reporting tools and develop analytics governance in collaboration with Data team

  • Automate and actively manage the data tracking platform that powers Yummly’s proprietary product personalization and provides the team access to self serve data insights.

  • Work cross-functionally to standardize and support the tools and product tracking required to measure the impact of new features as well as the ongoing health of the product ecosystem.

  • Advocate for and cultivate a data driven culture. You will evangelize data literacy across the organization and champion best practices in data supported decision making.

  • Support Data Science and Engineering teams in the end to end quality of the data tracking platform.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years building analytical tools or data products.

  • First hand experience across the analytics lifecycle (instrumentation, logging, data models, data warehousing, dashboards, BI tools).

  • Strong understanding of SQL, statistics, analysis, and modeling techniques.

  • Experience working with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Marketers, and general business users to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and instrumentation specifications.

  • Understanding of best practices for instrumentation and analysis of multivariate experiments.

  • Passionate about data quality.

  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to a wider audience simply and quickly.
