Temporary Logistics Associate

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, energetic, and detail-oriented person who is passionate about logistics!  This position will be responsible for processing information relating to the inventory movements of a fast growing, global company that develops, produces, markets and sells innovative wine brands to customers throughout the world.

This role is expected to last 3-4 months and will be primarily remote work, with a brief period of social distanced orientation in our Novato headquarters office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process all transfers from all bottling locations
  • Input/approve freight invoices using Accuimage and our tracking spreadsheet
  • Input all import shipments – Maintain arrival calendars & tracking spreadsheet
  • Provide monthly Proof of Exports to WX’s third-party warehouse provider
  • Maintain current Analysis reports for export shipments
  • Coding/approving all invoices related to rework projects
  • Responsible for inputting all inventory movements into Navision / Vintegrate (WX’s enterprise resource planning software system) for all warehouse transfers
  • Review and release all shipped Bills of Lading’s for all products shipping from all warehouses
  • Participate in inventory process, and work to research and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Assist other Navision / Vintegrate users in obtaining desired information regarding inventory balances, sales, transfers, etc.
  • Perform required administrative tasks; prepare all required reports and correspondence
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of office work experience with preference given for candidates who already have experience recording movements of inventory in an enterprise software system
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow while taking direction from multiple people
  • Demonstrated high-level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to quickly learn Navision / Vintegrate
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
