The Position
As a member of our team at HeinOnline you will be involved in obtaining content that will be digitized for our core product, HeinOnline.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing our project management software to maintain your workflow and to collaborate with co-workers.
  • Communicating with outside parties to request copies of new content and on returning any borrowed content
  • Entering new bibliographic information into our database
  • Maintaining the records for the content as it flows throughout facility
  • Updating our database on content as needed
  • Reviewing copyright on new titles to ensure we are permitted to host the new materials
  • Checking embargos of volumes
  • Opening and processing mail related to new materials (books, Journals, periodicals) we will be adding to HeinOnline
  • Performing various audits and reports as requested

Desired Skills, Abilities, & Interests:

  • Building strong relationships with various vendors
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
  • An affinity towards routine and repetitive work.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in an office setting performing data entry tasks
  • Experience dealing with customers and/or vendors

Other Position Information
Monday – Friday
7:30am to 4:00pm
Additional schedule options are available upon completion of training.
