Responsibilities:

You will use your experience, contacts, and consultative selling skills to build, nurture and close long-term relationships with prospective clients. We are targeting Fortune 500 companies that are influential thought leaders in their industry and care about the wellbeing of their employees (think Salesforce, Facebook, and Ford). Additionally, we would like you to build long-term partnerships with HR industry intermediaries like Mercer, Aon Hewitt, and Willis Towers Watson, and payers, such as Aetna, United Healthcare and Kaiser.  

You have existing relationships with the wellness and learning program decision makers inside prospective clients and potential partners. Between your business acumen and your passion for our work, you will successfully position Wisdom Labs as the choice for solutions that build resilience, engagement and aware leadership within organizations using science-based practices of mindfulness and emotional awareness. You can deliver on the following:

  • Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients
  • Establish, build, and nurture relationships with HR intermediaries

  • Actively manage the outbound sales funnel to achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of new leads sourced and revenue generated from those leads

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of our offerings and represent them passionately

  • Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with our head of marketing and business development, to define joint strategies for developing the business

  • Be a trusted member of the core team, bringing insight to our growth and development process as needed

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience and a strong network of contacts that includes C-suite and HR executives at large organizations and senior leaders inside HR industry intermediaries

  • Ability to eloquently operate in both the mindfulness and corporate worlds with in-depth knowledge of our target client universe

  • Tenacity and poise to secure meetings with decision makers and become a trusted resource for them

  • Experience in sales or “selling” across an organization

  • Ability to build a strong pipeline and develop prospect accounts into sales

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment

  • A passion for and familiarity with our work

  • Bachelor’s degree
