Remote Corporate Sales Support Agent

Customer Service | Berkeley, CA | Part Time

Available to start Immediately!

Part Time (15-20 Hours per week) remote opportunity with expanded holiday hours of (40 Hours per week) from November through January. 

KEY JOB DUTIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Wine.com’s corporate clients, helping them place and manage large, multi-recipient orders during the holiday season. Responsibilities include:
    1. Receiving and processing payments
    2. Working directly with our shipping carrier to resolve issues
    3. Working closely with other internal Wine.com groups, including our buyers, logistics centers, and wine experts, to ensure the timely and satisfactory delivery of orders
  • Handle inbound customer support inquiries from non-corporate clients via phone, chat, and email (Zen Desk), helping them resolve any issues

 

KEY JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Customer-oriented and friendly with a supportive phone, chat, and email presence
  • Focused on ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to work with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data entry and typing skills (preferably 45+ words per minute)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail or hospitality a plus
  • Knowledge of Zendesk a plus

 EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This non-exempt position offers part time shifts which will include morning, evening, and possibly weekend hours.  Working hours will be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (PST).  During the pre-holiday season, part time hours will typically consist of 10-15 hours per week.   

During the holiday season, which begins in late November and lasts through mid-January, hours may be expanded to 40+ hours per week. This is a seasonal position; though some workers may receive offers to continue beyond January, this role is expected to end in mid-January.
