The Position
The Wikia internship program provides design students or recent graduates practical work experience in interaction and visual design. Interns will be working closely with design leads, the Director of UX and the Creative Director. (S)he will contribute to the following:

    •    Assist the design team on various tasks as needed
    •    Prioritize work and manage time effectively; meet deadlines and demonstrate reliability
    •    Work collaboratively and partner with co-workers while being receptive to ideas of others
    •    Take direction and constructive feedback from Lead Designer and Creative Director
    •    Deliver effective written and oral communication
    •    Exhibit enthusiasm for work
    •    Exhibit motivation to learn and build skills

    •    Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    •    BA/MA/MFA students or recent graduates in Interaction Design or Digital Media Design
    •    Excellent interaction design and graphic design skills
    •    Experiences in information architecture, workflow analysis, user profiling and developing User Interface concepts
    •    Know how to assess and analyze user requirements, design interactive demos and user interfaces for complex systems and products
