Job Description

Project Manager

You will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating internal projects and external programs at WEGO Health.  You will work directly with our VP Operations, Sponsor Programs and Community teams within a fast-paced, always-changing world of social media.  This is a fast track growth position.

 Key Components of the position include:

  • Manage project plans and schedules, working with tech, community and product teams
  • Help Implement social media marketing programs working with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and health companies
  • Coordinate and participate in market research, community education, technical development and program tracking efforts
  • Drive our on-time, everyone’s-happy, under-promise / over-deliver approach
  • Be accountable for project results along with the project account manager
  • Prioritize and maintain interim deliverables and our bug tracking system
  • Identify potential issues that could impact deadlines, scope or quality
  • Help manage internal and external program expectations and program liabilities
  • Identify and present new tools, programs or software that build efficiencies

 The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in Project/Program Management, with 2-5 years of account service or project management experience
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work in a do-it-yourself, all-hands-on-deck environment
  • A clear and positive communicator (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with technology, tools and cool new stuff, bordering on geeky
  • A master of anticipation of the unique variables of teams, projects and life
  • Able to see through the fog of SOWs to determine core responsibilities, issues and risks
  • Relentlessly enthusiastic about our mission + driven by intellectual curiosity
  • Fun to work with and have a great sense of humor·
  • Comfortable with the “social” in Social Media (Wit, humor, and good social skills online and in person are essential)
  • An abstract thinker who can observe history and identify potential outcomes, next steps and possible risks
  • Have a university degree or college diploma in business or related field
