As a UX Intern at Watermark, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the work of our design team by creating and reviewing design deliverables and assisting the team with user research. This internship will provide you with real-world design experience and mentorship while building contacts and as an intern, you will be able to build your business aptitude and design skills working a particular set of projects
You will work with designers, project teams, and developers to create better experiences for our users. Interns will learn about the core activities of UX Research in an enterprise setting and have the opportunity to be engaged in all stages of research.
Will work on design/research deliverables that you can showcase in your professional portfolio
Develop professional connections with team members working out of Milwaukee, Austin, and New York City
Assist in the design process by creating mockups and prototypes that you will share and review with your supervisor
Work with UX designers to examine existing data and product designs to inform strategy and planning
Work with Front-end Developers to validate design feasibility and explore interactive solutions
Assist in moderated and unmoderated usability tests to get regular feedback from stakeholders and users to validate and test solutions.
Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program in a relevant field including but not limited to Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or Statistics
Samples of student/professional design or research projects that includes work with web/mobile applications
Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
