Technical Consultant (WI)

Implementation | Milwaukee, WI | Full Time

Job Description

The Technical Consultant will work closely with clients to solve complex technical problems and design ideal configurations for their use of Digital Measures by Watermark. The TC partners with clients to identify and support goals in using Digital Measures by Watermark, providing best-practice guidance and assistance so they can achieve those goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for implementations and other client projects

  • Consult with clients on how to achieve their goals while considering best practices for database design, reporting and data management

  • Complete configuration work requests for clients using basic programming skills

  • Lead data migration projects, including parsing, mapping, and converting data files

  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure client projects are accurately scoped and planned

  • Represent client needs and trends internally

  • Participate in prioritized projects as assigned

  • Other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in a technical discipline and a 3.5 GPA or higher

  • At least two years of classes or one year of prior experience using a programming language

  • Familiarity with database design concepts desirable (e.g., primary keys, foreign keys, normalization)

  • Familiarity with XML and XPATH desirable
