Watermark is currently seeking a Scrum Master that embraces and enthusiastically promotes the principles of empiricism and transparency as a servant leader facilitating their Scrum Team(s) and Watermark’s application of the Scrum Framework.
Help the Development Team to create high-value products by facilitating the team’s progress toward their objectives
Ensure the Development Team’s progress by eliminating impediments and empowering the team to resolve impediments on their own
Facilitate Scrum events as needed and ensure sprint success through rigorous application of Scrum best practices
Monitor, review and clearly articulate the context of changes in development metrics with the Scrum Team and its stakeholders
Support the Watermark organization and Scrum Teams in reaching higher levels of Scrum Framework application maturity
Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on bettering both team dynamics and performance
Work with other Scrum Masters to coordinate activities and improve cross-team collaboration in a scaled agile environment
Capable of serving as Scrum Master one or more Scrum Teams
Experience using agile software tools such as Jira and Confluence
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and focused servant leader
Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Ability to work with and lead a team
Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members
Outstanding organizational, communication, collaboration and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
Prior Scrum/Agile experience
Scrum Master Certification preferred
