Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

Watermark is currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist.

The Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day administration for a variety of Human Resources supported benefits and programs for Watermark staff. This role acts as an employee liaison in support of HR programs and benefits, including communication activities, providing guidance and education on HR policies and procedures, resolving issues and preparing supporting materials. In addition, the position will deliver presentations at new hire orientation and may provide training in other subject areas. The Human Resources Generalist will closely collaborate with the Director, Human Resources.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HRIS platforms

  • Assist with recruitment management: job posting, resume review, offer letter management, etc.

  • Monthly benefit reconciliation

  • Manage all Social Committee events for each office location

  • Along with the Director, Human Resources research and organization the quarterly company-wide professional development trainings

  • Assist with managing the HR annual events budget

  • Provide support to Managers and teams members on HRIS platforms

  • Maintain and coordinate  the Annual Performance Review process 

  • Maintain employee files as outlined by state and federal law

  • Quarterly office visit to other office locations

  • Payroll processing back-up

  • Assist with all other general HR related tasks and functions as needed

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 2-4 years of  progressive experience supporting a human resources department

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally & in writing in a clear and comprehensible manner

  • Experience with ADP  a plus!

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Demonstrated professionalism, poise, and courtesy in working with people

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize directives as assigned by multiple managers

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of employee personal information
