Events Coordinator

Job Description

Watermark is looking for an Events Coordinator with experience planning and executing regional events and corporate participation at trade shows. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative marketing team at a fast-growing company. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing our corporate participation at global trade shows and events and will also lead our regional events strategy to support local sales efforts. This individual will also lead the development and execution of our conference promotional strategy and support our annual user conference and broader events efforts. 

The Events Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager - Events.


  • Develop and execute the promotion plan and strategy for all trade shows, including pre and post-conference emails, advertisements, presentations, and special promotions, with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the expansion of our international events by contributing to our international event strategy and managing all international events. 

  • Expand our regional events strategy and execute regional events in conjunction with sales to support local sales efforts. 

  • Draft and deploy email communication for trade shows and regional events.

  • Research, negotiate and manage event-related vendors and services.

  • Create and maintain global events budget, plans, schedules and obligations.

  • Maintain and update event details on the company website and company calendar.

  • Manage events database and provide ongoing reporting to measure the effectiveness of events and contribution to revenue targets. .

  • Work with Senior Marketing Manager - User Events on projects related to Watermark Engage, our annual user conference.

  • Be an active and contributing member in our team’s creative think tank sessions.

  • Support the team with special projects, when needed.

  • 2-3 years of experience planning and executing trade shows. Global trade show experience is a plus

  • Experience working with agencies or freelancers on design projects

  • Ability to negotiate and track budget and contracts

  • Expertise executing projects on time and on budget

  • Some experience with Salesforce and Marketo is a plus

  • Some travel will be expected.
