Responsibilities:

The lead recruiter will work closely with Adult and Veteran’s Services programs for proactive full-cycle hiring for identified positions, while leading the ATS optimization and overall recruitment and interview process best practices. This person will define, develop, plan, and implement recruiting strategies and provide a qualified candidate pool for key identified grant positions.  This role requires project management and recruiting experience to meet client satisfaction goals.

  • Recruits for identified positions for Adult and Veteran’s Services, including screening, coordinating interviews with Program Management Staff, and ensuring steady pool of active candidates for new grant start up programs 
  • Works within predefined recruitment processes while monitoring that process to identify, recommend areas, improve and to ensure best practices at all times
  • Uses detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and to determine the relevant strength of the candidates in the pool
  • Prepares and orients interviewers to selection interviewing best practices and guides, interview questions, and scoring templates
  • Actively manages requisitions and job postings for identified positions
  • Prepares and orients interviewers to interview practices and guides, interview questions, and scoring templates
  • Responsible for building a strong candidate pipelines for identified positions, including attending job fairs, schools, college services as identified including identifying user groups and professional associations which could lead to qualified candidates
  • Identify and implement new methods with the approach of sourcing of candidates and generating new leads
  • Oversees the employment and education verification at VOALA
  • Expert in the ATS System
  • Responsible for key metrics for all VOALA recruiting in addition to meeting weekly/monthly/quarterly target goals for this position
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience in recruiting and recruitment function leading
  • At least 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with strong interpersonal skills and building relationships and consulting with Hiring Managers for a wide range of positions across a variety of levels using a highly structured interview process  
  • At least 4 years of experience in computer skills including in-depth internet knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and ATS system
  • JobScore (ATS) experience preferred
  • Ability to balance a high volume of requisitions and to adjust priorities according to business needs
