Pathways is the largest homeless shelter in Los Angeles, providing a diverse group of services. Comprehensive Case Management Services, Affordable Housing Assistance, Transitional Housing Programs, Permanent Housing Placements, JWCH Mobile Clinic, Department of Health Services, USC-HIV Study/Prevention.


  Program Coordinator II:  

  • Be responsible for overseeing and implementing systematic funder compliance across all of VOALA's properties
  • Work closely with the agency's in-house management to address funder concerns and corrective action plans
  • Oversees program and employee performance in assigned programs; participates in employee selection, setting job standards and employee performance management meetings, as needed
  • Ensures program sites are clean, safe and properly maintained; works with Facilities Managers to ensure program building(s) are in compliance with building and fire codes
  • Coordinate and direct program staff in order to collect, organize, and submit detailed program data necessary for compliance reporting 
  • Interface with and represent the organization with funder, governmental, and regulatory agencies
  • Address and oversee additional compliance tasks related to the clinical documentation, electronic health record data entry, and VOALA systems for other VOALA programs as necessary
  • Provides training, supervision, and problem-solving for difficult cases
  • Adhere to grant objectives
  • Provides information to Division Director highlighting progress to reaching set goals
  • Measures and assess impact of services, supports, and participates in key elements to the program's success


  • Bachelor’s degree in social welfare, psychology or related field
  • Three to five years' experience working in a human services leadership role
  • Demonstrated excellence with Microsoft Office, email and internet

Additional Requirements:

  • Effective written and oral communications skills (English)
  • Valid California driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation
  • TB screening required annually
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
