JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

The IT Database Clerk works with Corporate IT Operations Manager to create and update database lists of specified Information Technology assets and applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Email list management - create, delete, and track email addresses, and provide email list reports
  • Maintain IT Databases: Input and track the following information items in excel or database:
    1. email addresses
    2. software activation keys
    3. e-waste serial numbers
    4. iPhone and landline extensions
    5. security camera location and number of cameras per site
    6. other information items, as needed
  • Work with program managers to ensure accuracy of indicated tracking items What kind of tracking items?
  • Generate reports for IT Department, Program offices, and other corporate departments from Databases established in IT department.
  • Serve as backup for answering phones
  • Other administrative support functions, as needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications

EDUCATION:

  • HS diploma, or GED 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of Clerical experience 

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Working knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Understands and follows oral and written directions as directed 

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of data entry and database operations
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.  

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Quick typing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer savvy
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, with or without reasonable accommodation, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field.
