We provide a variety of social services to Los Angeles area communities such as Head Start programs, Upward Bound college prep programs, veterans’ services, homeless shelters, low-income housing program as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation. The Human Resources Assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department by performing the following duties:
  • Completes employment and degree verification's
  • Assist the HR team in answering employee phone calls
  • Posts positions in the ATS system as assigned
  • Provides clerical support to HR Department, including processing terminations
  • Assist with and maintains the human resources filing systems and other record keeping
  • Scan documents for electronic storage and retrieval
  • Supports employee relations, compliance, and other areas as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma Required
  • Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) helpful


  • Some college coursework in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources preferred
