JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

As part of the HR Team, the HRIS -HR Associate II is a technical position which has a primary focus on the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information Management System. Ensures data entry, data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing, as directed. The HRIS Associate II also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Supports compensation analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verifies, corrects and enters employee information into centralized database;
  • Documentation Review – Conducts file documentation review regularly; ensures quality assurance of employee data
  • Ensures HR databases are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information through data entry and regular audits.
  • Runs regular reports, and other reports as required by management; creates customized reports to support management and to provided other needed information on request.
  • Supports data audit requests.
  • Supports compensation analysis efforts.
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR information system upgrades or patches.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience related to Human Resources (4 years).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two years of general HR work experience, one year of direct experience with data reporting and HR systems support experience.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Working knowledge of current general employment/labor law including federal, state and local statutes such as, EEOC, affirmative action, FMLA, FLSA and immigration regulations and guidelines.
  • Good knowledge of Database operations

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

  • Skill in use of HRIS applications
  • Strong computer skills (including typing, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excel skills must include V-Look-up and Pivot skills.
