The Clerical assistant provides general and specific clerical support to the departments to which they are assigned in order to maintain an efficient office environment.


  • Assists with filing and administrative tasks.
  • Compile Information, prepare records and reports, as directed.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Database entry as directed.
  • Participate and assist in organizational functions and events.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications


  • High school diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate).


  • General office, administration and/or clerical experience.


  • Working knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Understands and follows oral and written directions as directed.


  • Basic Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Words, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with Database entry.


  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, with or without reasonable accommodation, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.


  • Results oriented, dependable, prompt, positive mindset, flexible, and organized.


  • Working towards an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 6 months of general office, administration and/or clerical experience or in a course of study that requires attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • Ability to accurately and effectively compose correspondence and reports.
