Case Manager - Lead (Sanctuary - (VAS))

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Case Managers' participant goals, objectives and treatment plans; maintains a limited caseload
  • Develop Strategies with other Sanctuary staff to help identify, target, and provide support and resources for domestic victims of human trafficking
  • Conducts weekly case conferencing and monthly case file audits to assure participants records are complete and accurate
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and development of ISPs, harm reduction and safety plans
  • Take required steps to address health, educational, vocational, recreational, social, emotional and psychological needs of each participant
  • Monitor program compliance to funder and VOALA policies and required procedures; maintains documentation of all program procedures
  • Maintain and build partnership and coalitions with other community and government agencies providing relief of human trafficking victims
  • Participate and assist with community awareness events, including providing victim awareness and identification training to law enforcement, FBOs and CBOs
  • Engage potential victims through gateway services and contacts weekly
  • Participate with other staff members on a rotating schedule to provide immediate response for victims on a 24/7 basis; this includes close coordination with law enforcement, the NHTRC hotline, and other community providers of street outreach
  • Other duties as assigned  


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be reliable and able to multitask
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid California driver's license and have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
