The Benefit Data Collections Specialist is responsible for:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completion of distributing financials through reviewing documents before submission
  • Monitor and assist Program Coordinator with completing reports and audits, filing of financial statements, bills, and financial information
  • Balances bank statements monthly, set up a budget for individuals, assures accounts have funds for bill paying and personal needs prior to sending checks out,
  • Ensure the balance for each client does not drop below $100 and does not exceed $2,000.
  • Work with VOALA C.B.E.S.T and ICMS programs to provide payee services to clients


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in social work, social services, public administration, public health or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Effective written and oral communications skills
  • Valid California driver's license and dependable transportation with adequate insurance
  • Knowledgeable of Social Security benefits


  • Master's degree preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Preferred experience with EGuardianship or other Rep Payee programs
