Volunteers of America of Greater Los Angeles is a large, national not-for-profit organization founded in 1896. We provide a variety of social services to Los Angeles area communities such as Head Start programs, Upward Bound college prep programs, veterans’ services, homeless shelters, low-income housing program as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Responsibilities:
- Supports program manager by assisting with scheduling appointments and other office services
- Coordinate preparation and collection of operating reports, attendance records, new hires and terminations
- Works with VOALA Corporate office to coordinate purchasing procurement , accounts payable and personnel
- Maintains confidential files, coordination of personnel records, facility requirements and licensing regulations
- Completes program billing and invoices submissions to funding sources as required by corporate and VA
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative office environment
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Inter mediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Current California driver's license and clean driving record
- Team leadership, stress and time management skills
