Voltera designs, builds, and sells tools for hardware developers. Our current product shrinks an entire circuit board manufacturing factory to a laptop-sized machine that sits right on their desk. This cuts each iteration of their design process from weeks to days.
It is currently used by Fortune 500 companies, small design studios, and academic institutions in over 60 countries. They use it to build products that save lives, explore space, keep us entertained, teach the next generation of engineers, and so much more.
The Role
Over the past few years, we’re proud of our team and the culture we’ve built. But as we grow, it becomes more difficult to passively maintain that strong culture. This is where you come in.
We’re looking for someone who has experience in an HR / People Operations role that can help build out the tools and processes that will enable the team to scale successfully - from recruiting and onboarding to culture-building and personal development. You are a self-starter and can not only identify areas to improve, but spearhead those projects and see them through to completion.
Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment, hiring and onboarding activities
Formalizing and maintaining employee handbook
Facilitate employee training and development
Responsible for cultivating and maintaining information in our HRIS system
Lead our Health & Safety committee
Organize and coordinate company outings/activities
Requirements
5+ years of experience in People Operations or related experience
Strong hiring ability and experience building out exceptional teams
Experience in employee training, onboarding and development
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Has an analytical mindset and thrives off of data
Strong interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
CHRP/CHRL designation
Experience implementing and using an HRIS platform (BambooHR preferred)
