To make this happen, the tools we use need to evolve as well. This is where you come in! We are looking for a talented hardware developer to join our engineering team to help push our prototypes into the world.
Extensive schematic design and layout experience.
Must be familiar with Eagle, Altium or equivalent design tool
Experience working with board manufacturers. Both local and overseas.
Comfortable generating production files like Gerbers, PnP Data, and BOM files.
Experience with communication protocols - UART, I2C, SPI, USB, etc.
Testing and Troubleshooting
Must have soldering experience and exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzer.
Experience designing production ready test fixtures.
Exposure to regulatory testing and compliance of electronic products.
Understanding techniques to minimize radiated emissions as well as protecting against EMI, ESD, Surge
Experience with C++ and prototyping platforms.
Understanding of key concepts like interrupts, timers, GPIO, PWM, bootloaders, fuses, etc.
Experience with Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano.
Experience with computer vision (OpenCV) and machine learning
You enjoy working on tough problems that keep you up at night. The type of problems that require a solid understanding of mathematics and physics. You love working in a small team, where everything you do will directly impact our customers worldwide.
You’re a flexible engineer – you can layout a board in an afternoon or swap out a QFN in a few minutes, you can code, and you can ship. You have a passion for robotics and a growing interest in AI.

We are located in downtown Kitchener but currently working remotely like most companies. When the pandemic clears we will be returning to the office.
