With billions of videos viewed and more than 600 million words translated, Viki brings global entertainment to fans everywhere.

We are in search of a Marketing Manager, Growth.  Reporting to the global head of marketing, you will be joining a talented, collaborative team at the forefront of exciting new ventures in the digital media space.  A successful candidate will have a passion for building highly scalable systems, enjoys working with multiple teams and has a proactive and organized approach to solving problems.  Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage SEM, email, display, mobile marketing and retargeting campaigns for content, product and PR promotions from strategy to execution and reporting

  • Find creative ways to scale ad campaigns while maintaining low bids

  • Support sales team in driving traffic for high-budget campaigns

  • Report paid acquisition and email marketing performance to relevant teams

  • Brainstorm and execute various growth projects in association with the content marketing, product marketing, mobile marketing and growth (Engineering) teams

  • Work in conjunction with the Social Media & Product Marketing teams to ensure coordination and complementary messaging/targeting for SEM, email blasts, retargeting, display, etc.

  • Build various user segments across multiple platforms, especially email

  • Troubleshoot automated email-related issues with the Community Support team - coordinate with the Engineering team where necessary

  • Coordinate with and support the publishing group regarding long-tail blogger outreach

  • Translate the Marketing team’s requests and priorities into actionable paid acquisition and engineering tasks. Translate engineer-speak and data analyses to marketing team progress reports


  • B.S. or M.S. in Marketing, Math or similar applied field

  • Solid quantitative, analytical and database skills (i.e. Excel)

  • 3+ years in an online marketing, performance marketing, or marketing intelligence position

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative working environment

  • Previous experience with Google AdWords (SEM, display network, YouTube), Google Analytics, email blast tools (MailChimp), SurveyMonkey, mobile analytics (Flurry, Kochava), Content marketing/recommendation tools (Taboola, Outbrain, etc), social media ads, remarketing/retargeting

  • Ability to quickly learn internal tools and dashboards

  • Previous experience with SQL is a plus

  • Experience with Search engine optimization (SEO)

  • Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy and Pentaho Business Intelligence Suite is preferred
