Account Development Representative

As Vida’s Account Development Representative, you will be the company's premier demand generation expert. You will be primarily targeting mid-market employers, health plans, providers, and consultants/partners. Our ADRs play a critical role, working in close collaboration with business development, sales, and marketing in making inroads into strategic companies and prospects.  The ideal candidate for this role would have a hunter mentality, with the requisite hunger to succeed. Successful candidates will seize ownership, and will have the ability to thrive outside of their comfort zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute account-based prospecting strategies and generate demand via multiple channels including phone, social, and email with the aim of growing the sales pipeline
  • Work with sales operations and marketing to develop outbound email campaigns to generate brand awareness and interest from decision makers
  • Convert prospects into qualified opportunities by articulating Vida’s value proposition and building trust and rapport with leads
  • Track all key information and prospect management activities in Salesforce.com with a high level of detail
  • Plan and coordinate web based and onsite demos for your sales reps and prospects
  • Analyze sales development data and make suggestions for marketing opportunities and process improvement
  • Deliver feedback to our Product team to contribute to innovation
  • Assist with sales team projects, like completing RFPs, organizing logistics for conferences, or building sales FAQ documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile health and wellness space and Vida’s competitive positioning in the marketplace

Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years of proven experience in a similar role. Healthcare industry experience a major plus
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Vida’s mission, vision and our general value proposition
  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, and have the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Must be proficient in the use of web and mobile technologies
  • Must have working knowledge of Office productivity tools and web conferencing tools
  • Must have the ability to use Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other online tools effectively
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms (Outreach IO, Groove, etc) a strong plus
  • Passion for the hunting process in the sales continuum and a strong belief in our mission a strong plus
