At Verrica Pharmaceuticals, we are passionate about developing and commercializing medications for the treatment of dermatological diseases, including skin cancers. Our lead product, YCANTH® (cantharidin), is the first and only healthcare professional-administered treatment approved by the FDA to treat patients two years of age and older with molluscum contagiosum – a common, highly contagious skin disease that effects an estimated six million people in the United States, primarily children. Verrica is also currently exploring a Phase 3 program to study its injectable oncolytic peptide, VP-315, for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer, and has initiated a global Phase 3 program to study VP-102 (YCANTH®) for the treatment of Common Warts. POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position of Senior Manager/Director, Specialty Pharmacy Account Management will lead the company’s strategic engagement with the Dermatology Specialty Pharmacy Retail Distribution Channel. Primary responsibilities include management of the Verrica retail Dermatology Specialty Pharmacy Network, key account management, field force pull through, reimbursement and co-pay program optimization. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Trade and Distribution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute business plans for major dermatology accounts and pharmacies to maximize regional and account performance.
  • Access & Reimbursement: Support key accounts and in navigating complex specialty & retail pharmacy distribution models. Fluent in both "Specialty Pharmacy" (WAC-based) and "Buy and Bill" (ASP-based) reimbursement for office administered products.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and market access teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Comfortable working in an analytic data-driven environment. Familiar working with IQVIA (LAAD), Symphony Health (IDV), syndicated formulary data, 3PL direct sales and copay program data.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 6+ years in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, specifically within dermatology, pediatrics or aesthetics
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Skills: Analytical, cross functional collaboration and deep working knowledge and network within the Dermatology Specialty Pharmacy channel PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk. Normal requirements for office operations with respect to lifting, standing and walking.
