Keeps stock of new and used supplies and orders new supplies as needed by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Keeps record of supplies in stock and supplies issued to technicians. Maintain a tracking mechanism for repairs and replacements. Orders paint, flags, batteries and miscellaneous supplies as needed. Issues equipment to new hires. Maintain an equipment list for each employee. Inspects supplies in stock to detect those requiring repair or cleaning. Procures state required certificates of title and arranges for registrations and state inspections. Inspects automotive equipment, scheduling needed repair or service work. Coordinates operation and maintenance of equipment, storage facilities, and repair facilities. Records expenses and analyzes purchase and repair costs. Assigns trucks for use. Performs vehicle inspections. May distribute and maintain gas card list.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
