Job Description

Uniti Fiber Holdings Inc. ("Uniti") is searching for Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technicians 1 who will be Uniti Fiber’s first tier in ensuring the integrity of our network. These are our entry-level positions and we currently have multiple positions available. 

JOB TITLE: NOC Technician (Entry Level)


STATUS: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities for Entry Level NOC Technicians will include but are not limited to: 

  • Effectively monitor the Uniti Fiber network by utilizing the provided tools and applications for determining network functionality.

  • Critical thinking, organization, and an adherence to detail will be required for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Recognize when and to whom issues need to be escalated will be acquired through experience and training.

  • Customer service, through both telephone and e-mail interaction, will be the primary goal in that all issues will be efficiently and properly addressed so that Uniti Fiber exceeds the standards of service offered to our customers.

  • Other duties as assigned.

The position requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and ample self-initiative who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Uniti is open to candidates with diverse backgrounds and the ideal candidate will have:

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment wherein critical thinking, organizational skills, and adherence to detail are a must.

  • Excellent customer service.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to pass a back-ground check and drug screening.

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Candidates must have strong attendance with previous employer

  • Candidates must provide at least 1 verifiable manager/ supervisory reference with their resume.

  • Will be expected to learn and perform tasks in a 24/7/365 Network Operations Center

No experience required, however technical trade certifications, course work in Computer Science or similar is preferred.

Prior experience in a help desk/ call center environment also a plus.
