We're looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to bolster our ranks! Could that be you?

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of software engineers to deliver awesome products and experiences to our customers.

  • Take ownership over products and do whatever it takes to deliver results quickly and predictably.

  • Solve difficult challenges using your expertise.

  • Participate regularly in code reviews with your peers.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers.

  • Collaborate very closely with product managers to estimate, negotiate, and prioritize work in an Agile & Scrum environment.

  • Be a champion for both the user and your tech stack: deliver high quality and high value functioning features

Need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent work experience)

  • 5+ years of professional development experience in related technologies

  • 1+ years experience in leading and growing a team of software developers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders

  • Strong knowledge in software architecture, data structures, and modern design patterns

  • Software development experience with either Java, Javascript or Python

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, React with Redux

Nice to have:

  • NPM and JavaScript build tools, e.g. Babel, Webpack, Browserify

  • Data pipeline and streaming tech, e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache SparK

  • AWS services - Redshift, RDS, S3

  • CI/CD systems, e.g. Jenkins
